The Township was deeply saddened by the sudden passing of long-time Township Trustee, Wayne Wienen, July 27, 2017. Wayne was a dedicated and faithful Trustee, having served the Township since his election in 1965. He was a hard worker, a good friend, and a good neighbor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Truly, a well-respected and gracious neighbor and a trusted and helpful person. Wayne was honest, dependable, and always willing to help or give advice when asked. He will be sorely missed
FIFTY YEARS OF SERVICE… AND COUNTING
In 2016 Guilford Township hosted a reception to honor Trustee Wayne Wienen who recently completed 50 years of service to the Township as Trustee. Invited to join the celebration were Wayne’s family members as well as Township Board members (and their spouses) who served with Wayne over the years.
